August 2011 - SNAP Awarded GSA 8(a) STARS II Prime Contract - SNAP recently won a GSA 8(a) STARS II Contract, a multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract engineered to provide cutting-edge technology solutions from award-winning 8(a) small businesses to federal agencies. The current contract term is for one five-year base period which began upon award in August 2011.

March 2010 - SNAP Awarded Office of the Attorney General (OAG) Maryland contract. - SNAP Awarded Office of the Attorney General (OAG) Maryland contract to revise and update the current Backup, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity System. To implement a centralized and consolidated backup system for the Baltimore, Hagerstown and Salisbury locations. The system will provide file level backup for efficient restoration of files accidently deleted by users as well as the ability to conduct local or remote full server bare metal backup/restoration of servers for complete disaster recovery and business continuity.

SNAP awarded Literacy Works Information System Operations and Maintenance Support Contract for the Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation (DLLR).
The LWIS system was developed to support a primary goal of Maryland Adult Education program funded by the Workforce Investment Act to monitor performance outcomes, and to collect performance data required by the National Reporting System (NRS) as well as other data unique to Maryland programs.
January 2010 - SNAP Executives Attended U.S. Air Force AETC Symposium - SNAP executives attended U.S. Air Force Air Education and Training Command’s (AETC’s) annual symposium January 14-15, 2010 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. The theme of this year’s event is “Developing America’s Airmen Today…For Tomorrow” and is marked by exhibits, informational seminars, and social functions. As part of the exhibitions, SNAP showcased its training and technology solutions in support of Air Force programs.

June 2009 - SNAP Awarded AFSO 21 Contract - $22M - SNAP was one of 4 prime contractor awardees on the AFSO 21 Contract. The contract was out of the Air Force Education and Training Center (AETC), at Randolph AFB, San Antonio TX. The Air Force has over 3000 hours of training to convert to Web based training over the next two years. Work is anticipated to start in January 2010.

SNAP doubled its office facilities at corporate headquarters in Chantilly Virginia, increasing its staff to meet the expanding needs of our customers. The office space is adjacent to the former space and the address, 4080 Lafayette Center Drive, Suite 340 Chantilly, Virginia 20151, remains the same.

March 2009 - SNAP Expanding State Market Reach - SNAP is expanding its market reach beyond the east coast and submitted a proposal to become a Master Information Technology Contractor for the State of Washington. Awards are expected by the state in early summer.

August 2008 - SNAP Expands Business Development Efforts - SNAP hired Nancy S. O’Malley as its new Business Development Director. Ms. O’Malley has over 25 years experience in federal government contracting and will focus her efforts on pursuing business opportunities with the federal government and the United States military. She is also an experienced project manager with education credentials and nearly 30 years experience in the courseware development realm.
March 2008 - SNAP Selected Prime Contractor on SeaPort-e Multiple Award Contract - SNAP selected as a prime contractor under the Navy’s SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) to provide engineering, technical and programmatic to the Navy’s Virtual Systems Command (VS) which consists of: Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA); Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR); Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR); Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP); Strategic Systems Program (SSP); Military Sealift Command (MSC); Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC); and the United States Marine Corp (USMC).
